MedRhythms Therapy Launches National Teletherapy Platform Amidst Coronavirus Pandemic
(Boston, MA) MedRhythms Therapy, a company providing Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) to help people recover from neurologic injuries and diseases, launches a teletherapy platform in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
MedRhythms Therapy is excited to announce the launch of their new teletherapy platform. With this most recent development, the company makes great progress toward achieving their mission of providing access to the unique suite of clinical services they offer. “Our vision has always been to build an impactful organization that can reach people across the globe. This pandemic has shown us the need that exists for these services and has accelerated the implementation of this important program,” said CEO Brian Harris.
Once MedRhythms Therapy clinicians were no longer able to provide care in-home, the team turned their focus to teletherapy to continue providing remote care to existing clients. The clinicians have built a strong infrastructure and resource to continue providing high-quality care through teletherapy, and are now able to offer these services to people who need them across the globe.
MedRhythms Teletherapy is the remote delivery of neurologic music therapy services via live online video conferencing and customized resources for clients built by the MedRhythms team using communication technology including the internet, computers, laptops, and phone media. The treatment areas for teletherapy remain consistent throughout the company’s clinical practice and focus on speech & language, sensorimotor, and cognitive domains following neurologic disease and injury. These sessions are convenient, as clients can receive care from the comfort and privacy of their own home. The MedRhythms Therapy team will help prospective clients to be sure they are prepared and have the equipment and technology necessary to ensure successful treatment. Additionally, the team is offering a complimentary consultation to be sure the platform is appropriate for each individual.
