MedRhythms Therapy has been the leading provider of Neurologic Music Therapy in the country since 2013. The program began in Boston at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, a top ranked Rehabilitation Hospital in the U.S., and has since grown across the healthcare continuum offering services for individuals and groups in the following settings:
Inpatient: acute care, inpatient neurorehabilitation facilities
Outpatient: rehabilitation hospitals
In-home: Greater Boston Area
Other healthcare facilities: skilled nursing facilities, adult day programs, memory care, etc.
Teletherapy: nationally and internationally
Supervision or Consultations
Supervision or one-time consultation opportunities are available for professionals who are seeking additional knowledge and support on clinical, professional, and other areas of growth. Supervision can be adapted for individuals or teams. Content and format will be individually based and can include, but not limited to, the following:
Clinical implementation
Diagnostics and Assessments
Case review
Session observations of MedRhythms clinician (with appropriate consent)
Session observations of mentee sessions (with appropriate consent)
Program implementation
Interdisciplinary/professional relationships
Meetings and discussions
Fellowship preparation and review

Continuing education credits (CMTE) can be obtained through a non-standardized self-study through the Certification Board for Music Therapists (See CBMT Recertification Handbook for more information).
