Vanessa graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in music therapy after completing her internship at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital with MedRhythms. Vanessa has always been interested in Music Cognition, and pursued her certification in Neurologic Music Therapy because it stands at the corner of her two passions; neuroscience and music.

Vanessa is the in-patient clinician at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, NY. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, eating good food, and traveling.
