Isabelle Lu, MT-BC

Neurologic Music Therapist

Isabelle graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in music therapy after completing her internship at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. She had the privilege of attending a neuroscience program at Harvard where she gained interest in Neurologic Music Therapy, and has since then pursued to receive her certification in NMT. Aside from music cognition, Isabelle is passionate about advocating NMT to students in order to grow the field and to treat more patients in the future. Isabelle is also bilingual, speaking both English and Chinese.

Isabelle is currently located in White Plains, New York, and is one of the two clinicians at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. She is currently offering services to both in- and out-patient. In her free time she likes to bake, travel, compose music, and spend time with her puppy Milo! She is also an avid Studio Ghibli fan and would recommend anyone to watch their films.
